Tremblay<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Le studio Galerie B\u00e9cot est un espace de production et de diffusion des arts visuels. Andr\u00e9 B\u00e9cot travaille dans le milieu des arts visuels de Qu\u00e9bec depuis plus de 45 ans. En plus d\u2019enseigner les arts visuels au c\u00e9gep de Sainte-Foy, il participe \u00e0 de nombreux \u00e9v\u00e8nements en tant qu\u2019artiste professionnel. En 1989, il participe aux premiers jeux de la francophonie en tant que sculpteur invit\u00e9. On lui d\u00e9cerne la m\u00e9daille d\u2019argent pour son projet in situ. Il fut propri\u00e9taire de la Galerie Andr\u00e9 B\u00e9cot, \u00e9tablie sur la rue Saint-Jean \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec de 1976 \u00e0 1986. Il fut aussi membre du conseil d\u2019administration du RAAV de 2005 \u00e0 2009 et du conseil de la sculpture du Qu\u00e9bec, durant une p\u00e9riode de dix ans. Il est membre du conseil de la culture et membre organisateur et programmeur, du club des collectionneurs en arts Visuels de Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, le studio B\u00e9cot et la Galerie B\u00e9cot se partagent le m\u00eame espace. Ce mode de fonctionnement permet \u00e0 la Galerie B\u00e9cot de s\u2019engager dans le milieu culturel de Qu\u00e9bec avec une certaine libert\u00e9. Cela permet aussi \u00e0 des artistes d\u2019y produire leurs \u0153uvres et, de fa\u00e7on ponctuelle, d\u2019en faire la diffusion. La Galerie B\u00e9cot &nbsp;assure la diffusion d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8nements lors de colloques, d\u2019expositions, de conf\u00e9rences.
